Hoy se celebra a San Felipe de Jesús, primer mártir mexicano
Cada 5 de febrero, la Iglesia celebra a San Felipe de Jesús, mártir, fraile franciscano y misionero. Sus padres fueron españoles, pero él nació en tierras mexicanas, por lo que, con toda justicia, se le considera el primer mártir de México.
